Anyone here paint their airfilter cover?

Or had it covered in Carbon fiber?

If you have any pics, that would be cool.

Eric, if you've done this before... What do you charge and do you have a core? If not what's the turn around time?

Just thinking aloud on some projects now that it's 30' out...

No cores Corey. We don't recommend it.

If you want a CF airbox, you would be better off with a completely new one, full CF, better airflow, etc.

What about painting it the silver they use on the Cayenne's plastic engine parts? Or just painting it in general is a bad idea...

I was thinking silver or even yellow? What do you think? Also how did you prepare the surface. I have a spare can of 500' yellow paint and I will be having yellow calipers soon enough. My car's midnight blue so it will definatly contrast....

I saw a guy awhile ago who had an anodized aluminum cover, said he got it from a german company, looked cool.9ff maybe.
