I agree that you can buy all the stuff separately, but $10 for the kit isn't that bad. But if you need to remove the factory UV coating, it's going to take 600 grit sandpaper. 2000 will never work for anything more than polishing away slight cloudiness. I agree just do it by hand rather than risk using a power tool.

Yeah, ten dollars isn't bad but like anything else that's a "simple solution" I just don't trust it. I'm sure it works to an extent or else it wouldn't last on the shelves. I just don't think it an ever bring the quality of the proper 3 step process. In my eyes, if I'm going to put my time into something, I want to take the time and do the better of the two processes. To me it's like saying the Polish and wax option at the touch less car wash is as good as the compound, polish and wax job you can do by hand.

Yeah, Simoniz does help brighten your paint and will help with protection BUT, it will never do what some time, effort and quality product can do
