Thanks NY!!! They are definitely worth the buy. I'm so pumped to see them mounted on the car with the carbon fiber insert.

Mirrors are all put back together and installed. I dropped my phone earlier and cracked the camera on it. The pictures are cloudy and not really clear. Once I put the carbon inserts on I will use my nikon camera to take nice clear HD photos. The paint is a perfect match and the clear is nice and consistent with the rest of the car. I never realized how much I'd actually love this upgrade. Makes me think about doing the door handle conversion next, whenever it's not $900 for the conversion.

I also ordered some BRIDE racing seats in black with red stitching to go with the black interior and red rollcage. I gotta order up some harnesses and also going to be ordering some 997 gt3 style sideskirts.

Looks good, do the 996 mirrors travel far enough in side the 997 housing to have the same field of vision with no blind spots?
