Does anyone know if the Lemforder front upper strut mounts are compatible with a 99 C4? I'm being told they will fit, but they appear to be completely different that the OEM mounts.

 

The C4 uses the same top-mounts as the Turbo/C4S (due to the all wheel drive, I assume). They cost $300ea + as opposed to $35 - $40 for the C2 version...Really? 10x the price for what is essentially a very similar part? Unfortunately yes... Also, no real third party/aftermarket alternatives except for mono-ball/adjustable camber plates. While these are desirable from a performance standpoint, and they're less expensive than the stock mounts, they will increase the harshness of the ride. http://www.tarett.com/items/996-997-...smt-detail.htm
