Question for folks with Fabspeed Competition Air Intake

According to the installation instructions, the heat shield connects two bushings inserted into holes on the lower frame rail. However, I'm having a heck of a time getting the bushings into the holes. The holes seem too small. Am I missing something?

TIA

You may need to shave some of the rubber off. That's what I did when I had the 996.

Thanks. I figured that was an option, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. That worked fine.
