So today I am driving my 911 and I am going to my fathers house which is about an hour away. Well I stop off at an albertsons to get a pie for dessert and on my way out the door there is this guy standing outside. Now this guy kinda looks like a bum and I thought he was going to ask me for money at first, he then ask me if I own the 911 ( i had a front row spot) and I answered yes. Well he starts telling me that he owns a 79 911 turbo and a turbo VW bus... I am just trying to blow the guy off , I have a ferry to catch and it's raining out, so he keeps asking to see my motor, I tell him there is nothing to see.. if you want to see it's visable from underneath (LOL) so he ask me how fast it goes so I tell him 195 (joking only I was not serious) and he tells me that his VW bus is geared lower so it only does 180... it was so hard to keep from rolling on the wet cold concrete... so again I ask him what king of Porsche he has... it was a 944 right (cause I actually forgot what he said) and he said no no no... it's a 3.0L 79 911 356 turbo..... that is right a 911 356 turbo... I had to ask again and he says yes...

WOW... he then started to tell me how he had Midas make these headers for him and that the cops always mess with him when he drives it (too loud). Well I finally tell him I have to leave (still being nice) and I watch him walk away and head towards the street (without a car)......


I just can't wait to see this 911 356 turbo

oh and he kept going and going... kind of like no one ever talks to him and now he get's to speak... haha.....

They had a very special rare V8. It was hard to keep the front wheels on the ground.
