have looked at it too, seems to make sense and i'm going to look into getting one, i have spoke to many with it, install is a easy DIY job, and it's meant to be pretty light..
i went to the dealer to pick one up since they said they have it in stock but they landed up pulling a huge piece of plastic out.... guess they didn't understand what i wanted...

I have it, put it on when I had my ROW 030 installed. For about $100 bucks, why not. If you want I can take pics later... My dealer didn't even question it when I went in for service, I guess since it does have a porsche part number on it.

I have one. I think it makes the most sense if you have lowered your car. As "mods" go, it's one of the cheapest and somewhat practical.

Any links to who makes the best one, and if it's OEM, might you have the model number?

Here's a link from Ebay ? I was thinking of bidding but since the current price + shipping will be close to the brand new price from dealer, I will just buy it new from my local dealer.

I have one, and it has come in hand a few times backing out of steep driveways......makes lots of sense especially if your car is lowered.

do these things come with any hardware or is it just the skid and it bolts up to existing bolts and locations...?
also does it bolt to the Chassis or the block, just want to know where the force of a hit will be transferred too....
