Great work. I turbo'd my SC myself and have been considering how to boost the C4S as well. Looking forward to more updates.

Great, thanks for that.

Been working on gauges and steering wheel this winter. Once the weather gets better, will start getting the meth tuned right and try to get to a track for some real numbers. Bummer is they closed raceway park drag racing so will take a while to get to a track.

Now that I have my AIT gauge working, started playing with meth tuning today. Wow my intake temps were really bad lol. To be fair I was being really conservative cus I had a hyrdolock scare with a lower meth mix earlier. Started at max of 226f and got it down to 195. Still work to do, but looks like I'm likely going to have to add an intercooler. I don't think I'll find another 70-80 degrees. I'd like to see a max of around 120, but ideally closer to ambient.

Been forever since I've updated, but need some help! I'm still fine tuning everything.

Can anyone tell me what this tube does and if it should leak? I ran a boost leak test today and air was pouring out of this connector. Should i have a check valve on this so only vacuum passes through?

Got some help on another forum. Turns out it's the brake booster vacuum line which i will need to add a check valve on. I was maxing out around 5psi no matter what I did and I think I should be around 8 or 9. Will report back when this is fixed.

Alright, finally hitting the right boost...maxing at just over 10 lbs. Turns out it was the brake booster boost leak and my bad choice of air filter material. I just need to work out a good intake solution and I will be done. Should get some dyno numbers this summer.

FWIW,, there are some elbows to go on top of a Carb that are sort of a top hat to allow a air cleaner on a V8 with minimum clearance,,
You'd have to fab a bracket for the inlet to the turbo,,,, and a support for the filter off to the side,, Google "carburetor top-hat intake"

thanks, def a good thought. I decided to remove the SAI pump and route a proper intake and filter into that corner. See pic below. It's working great...with this setup I'm still getting close to 10lbs boost and car is running great. Only thing left now is to get the meth kit setup right, so I can get my intake temps down a little further.

I will do my best to get some dyno numbers posted at some point this summer.

Providing an update. Scored a deal on a D1SC procharger a few months ago, so swapped it in place of the P1SC and now seeing around 11lbs boost with a 3" pulley. Gained about 2 psi and temps are the same. Trying to find time over the winter to fabricate a nicer intake setup. I'm about a year behind to show numbers lol, but really hoping to get dyno numbers this spring or summer. Either way it is a blast to drive

Yes, you really need to get the intake to much cooler place. Your engine is sucking air between expansion tank and exhaust manifold, ie the hottest place in the engine bay.
