Considering getting my 996 4S wrapped. Has anyone done this? Do you like it? How is the maintenance on keeping it looking new? Chime in with both pros and cons. Thanks

I thought about wrapping my entire car but I decided to just do the hood, wing and mirrors. Those have held up pretty well over the past 3 years. I've heard complete car wraps kind of fall in that "you get what you pay for" category. I talked to a guy on a different forum and it cost him in the neighborhood of 3-4k for it. Looked good though!

Will they do the door jambs, etc....?
If not it might look like a bad respray. Just a thought.

Did you do it yourself? Matte or gloss? Same color or contrasting? Pics, please!
Thanks

Nooooo... I wouldn't trust myself doing it. Way too much patience and attention to detail. Here are a few pics

looks great

I'm with you, leaving it to the experts and their skills! Once I get it done I'll be posting pictures. Getting some small dents taken out first. Paintless dent removal,,,,

I had my car fully wrapped, and doing door jams and other tight areas is an additional charge for most wrap businesses I've talked to. No complaints here though. Find a business that does good work and uses high quality products (3M or Avery for example), and you should be good to go.

Well i also have done with full vehicle wrap but they hadn't charged my any additional cost for doors. They also have used high quality material for wrapping the car but they have cost the same as others.
