European Side Marker Lights

Anyone have positive/negative experience with changing out the side marker lights to the European clears?

That was the first modification that I made to my 996 after I bought it. I've also done it to my 997 and my 991. It's cheap and easy, and it looks great!

I used LED bulbs when I did this in my 996, and they worked well.

Where did you fellas purchase them in the states ? I like the idea of LED's as I have them in my air-cooled cars but that was done overseas.

I'm not a big fan of buying "stuff" for my 996 from China, but I found a set of clear side marker lights (not LED) on e-Bay for $58. Got 'em and they look great.
