After much contemplation on buying a new set of wheels, I decided to have my stock 18" Turbo Look wheels custom finshed. I went with a Porsche Seal Grey center and a machined lip. the whole wheel was then sprayed with around 5 coats of a very tough clear. I am very happy with the finished result. I will post before and after pics of my car when I get the wheels on this afternoon.

 

Looks Great!! That is exactly what I'm doing - powdercoating in seal grey for 50 bucks a wheel. No need to clear with PC.

WTF 50 a wheel?!? People are trying to charge me like 150-200 a wheel for solid gloss black

Anyway im doing a reall racey/track look with doing all gloss black, its going to look nuts but hmm i love the idea of that seal grey! Can't wait to see pics

Nice, I like the idea. I have a white c4s cab black top. I'm thinking of going with black on my OEM turbo wheels.

 

$50 a wheel, that a great price wish we had someone in so cal for that price.

 

If you ever want to sell those, let me know. They would look good on my Boxster.
