Instrument Panel Lights / License Plate Lights

Instrument Panel Lights / License Plate Lights
The Instrument panel lights on my 2003 996/911 suddenly stopped working. Thinking it was a fuse, I checked and replaced the A5 fuse and the panel lights are off as well as the rear license plate light (same fuse). I checked and there is not any power getting to the license plate light. Thinking it might be an ignition problem, swapped in a new one and lights still out. Any other suggestions or has anyone else experienced this problem.
