I've been seeing some New York plates that go up to 8 characters. Is this legit?? Because in California, we're only allowed up to 7. You have to be really creative to come up with something with only 7 letters.

In NY we are allowed up to 8.

 

must be nice. I can come up with a lot of plates with 8 characters. That's almost a sentence compared to 7. What were some of the ones you've seen on a Porsche?

 

Mine are waiting to be picked up at the DMV.
