Worst Mod Ever
Did this on rennlist, wonder if 6speed is any different. What's the worst mod you ever did on a 996?
Mine were those crappy alum bezels installed with superglue, look like crap, can't take 'em off.

Funny, I love my bezels. I used silicone so I can take them off if I want to, but I don't.

No bad mods yet.

100% Those trim rings are the worst junk I ever attempted to install on my car.

I wound up giving my service advisor a $200 tip and he got me a new guage cluster "under warranty"

A close second would be that ss idiot light face plate that rennline used to sell, talk about ricey.
I may try that 200$ trick, I can't stand mine.

worst mod so far for me ...after much consideration..has to be the BK auto bar. i shoulda just gone with a rollcage in the first place if i knew i was goingto dump this kind of money on mycar.

Hmmm... well I bought the X-Pel headlight covers http://www.autoanything.com/category...adlight_covers but never installed them. Instead I dropped my auto insurance comprehensive deductible to $0 in case I have to replace a cracked headlight assembly in future.

Anybody want them?

Having someone do my interior parts in carbon and then have it peel up and bubble. Bought all new OEM pieces.

Having too much Artic silver bits, I ended up switching allot of them to Carbon Fiber oem of course

The worst mod I ever did was that week I had 19 inch Gold Daytons on my C2.
