Do I need sensors for all 4 tires on a 996?

Do I need sensors for all 4 tires on a 996?

Yes, I'm wondering if you know if i need a new sensor for each tire? or, just one, or one front/ one rear?
take it easy on me! changing these myself for first time...

What kind of sensor are you taking about.

996 does not have a TPMS. TPMS was mandated from 2007 on.
Four TPMS units required for cars with TPMS. TPMS= Tire Pressure Monitoring System or TPM SENDER.
That said it would depend on how old the in-tire units are most batteries last ~8 years.
Our outback lasted 9. I have one in my scion snows that is failing after 3 years. YMMV

So Sorry! break pad wear sensors...That was the only kind I was aware of, related to tires and such...

You need one for each caliper. There are plenty of companies that advertise on here with full kits. I bought a full kit for my Cayenne from ECS Tuning.
