Transmission oil differences?

I need to do a transmission oil change when I contacted the indi shop for an appointment they recommended I use 75w-30 for my 99 carerra, as I did some research on oils and prices I noticed that all internet searches point me in the 75w-90 direction. Why would a shop recommend a 75w-30? When you guys did your transmission oil change what oil and weight did you use? Im leaning towards Motul J300 75w-90.

Is 75W30 even a thing? It doesn't sound like any oil that I've ever come across. I suspect the mechanic was simply confused. 75W90 is what should be used.

The car has almost 150k on it and I don't think it has ever been changed. There is no dip stick so I cant check the color of the fluid. I do think the service writer made a mistake, I went to the dealer over the weekend to ask look for the fluid and I got the part number which is
000 043 305 48 and it is 75w-90 and that is what the car takes.
