Heel Toe a 996.
Heel Toe a 996.
As you may know the pedals on a 996 are not all on the same plane, the brake and clutch are closer to the driver then the gas pedal. And making a heel toe while down shifting and braking at the same time quite hard. So i'm asking the question on here to find out how some of you guys got around this problem.
Did you change the pedal box all together?
Can the gas pedal be adjusted to be on the same level as the clutch, or vise versa?

I understand your situation. I was a little hard for me at first too, but just like every manual car, they're all unique in the design and position of the pedals and it take time to get used to it. The e-gas pedal with it's Porsche style lower hinge design changes the feel too unlike traditional mechanical gas pedals. Upshifting is smooth in my opinion. Most people complain about trying to downshift properly. My best advice is just practice double clutching on down shifts a little more and try to not make it a burden. You think about it enough and it steals your joy. Lot of people purchase after pedals to provide a different feel when shifting, but IMHO, those pedals don't add any added function to the shifting process. Just for looks.
