Clutch life?

Just curious how long I can expect my clutch to last. Granted I'm aware of all the variables associated with this question BUT I am still curious if I can expect 60k+ miles out of it?

I don't abuse the clutch but I do track events and I do drive it hard from time to time. I've been driving standard tanny's all my life so I can and do drive them very well.

Anyone with a 99' with more than 60k miles? Anyone with more than 60k miles on their first clutch?

Don't let anyone else drive it and it should last 100,000 +
Ciao

Anywhere from 25k to 40k, mine was replaced at 33k and was told by the dealer I did pretty good. They don't last long and it cost almost $1500 to replace.

i'm sorry but if original porsche clutch doesnt last for at least 75k miels then either u dont know how to drive stick or u got owned by your dealer, except of course the clutch damage was secondary to another prob (rms, accident, etc)

Actually I had these same concerns before and posted a similar question on the Rennline forum and it seems the 996 clucth life is very short!
