Hi Stan,

Thanks for the leads!

Hey didn't you have an early 2000 Avus Blue M5? Mine was Avus with LeMans Sport interior.

Mike

Go with the GT3 front bumper and wing. I also had H&R's on my C4. It was low, but not even close to what my TT is with PSS9s and the GT2 front.

Hi Mike,

Yeah that was me, Avus with Silverstone. Just when I had it modded exactly the way I wanted, someone made me an offer too good to pass on.
I've been lurking at M5board.com lately and I can't belive how cheap 02's are going for now. If I can get spousal approval I may jump back in and keep the cab as a summer only car.
How are you enjoying the 911?
If I remember correctly your M5 was pretty heavily modded. I find the disease transfers from car to car!

Cheers,
Stan

Hey jon,
I missed the carbon fiber part.
Have you picked up the new M5 yet?

Stan

picture of front lip

Can someone please post a picture of the front lip that goes with the first wing pictured in this thread. This is the wing I have on my 04 996, but have yet to find a picture of the front lip in any Porsche sales books.

Thanks,

Jeff

Thanks,

Jeff,
There really isn't one specific front bumper cover that goes with that wing for a '04. You actually have several oe choices.
They include:
GT3 MK2 aero bumper cover
TT bumper cover
GT2 bumper cover

It's really a matter of preferance, on my '02 cab I opted for a TT bumper cover.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Stan

Love the Pcar! Its a blast to drive, light & nimble, and [relatively] inexpensive to mod.

I do miss the M5 sometimes but "treating the disease" was too expensive -- next on my list was SC, I just couldn't justify the $25k!

I love mine too, feels go cart like after the M5.

Modding the P car is deffinately less expensive than the M and much more to choose from.

I thought about supercharging my M5 but quickly came to my senses after reading Rob's saga.

Enjoy the Pcar and go for the aero kit.

Cheers,
Stan

Congrats Mike! It's the best choice for the early 996's (IMHO).
Cheers,
Stan

It's GT3 Mk2, the Mk1 had the slats you described.
