Hey guys, first post here, but wanted to pick your brains about an issue Ive had since I bought my 2000 Carrera 996. Ive had absolute crap gas mileage, and cannot find what is causing it. I do drive in traffic, but at last fill up, I see I got 7.5 MPG. Generally it is around 10. Car is well maintained, but this is driving me nuts! Any thoughts? It will be at my mechanic this next week. I really appreciate your input!
If you have an obd2 scan tool check for a bad injector or O2 sensor causing engine to run way too rich. I don’t know if you have Autozone in HI but if you don’t have a scan tool they will scan it for you. Aloha!
