front cover look of 997 will fit 1997-2000 feedback

Sorry for years misprint on thread but evidently this 997 front will fit 1999-2000 without fender mods not sure who makes it as yet, am I going off the deep end here? Any feedback welcome.

Can't decide

The bumper in question is produced by precision:

http://www.precisionporsche.com/home.html

Anyone know of the fitment or anything about them. I like the RUF RGT for my model but price prevents this, I tried to use a paint program to see what the 997 front would look like with ruf side skirts and wing and wheels OK! No Flames if anyone can photoshop that would be nice. Here are the 997-gt3, RUF rgt and one that might look ok to from Andale. Tell what you think. The last picture I left open for the photoshop gurus.

Thanks Ray, I take it that you didn't like the lower lip! and Erik what is oh boy!!! I like it but I'm getting the impression that with the extra lights it's a morphing into a 998 model still looks pretty slick and seems to have the advantage of better Aero effects vs the flat front of the RUF. Ones things for sure when you have your turn signal on, drivers will notice or the extra lights can be used for flashing ones on the long drive in the middle of nowhere at high speed.

I agree maybe that's what I meant by "It doesn't seem know what it wants to be.

I like it. I'll definitely be looking for something like this for my 996.

This is a respose I got from them regarding the headlight cover and making the lights work along with a question I had regarding the lower front lip which is evidetly included..

"if you can remove your oem bumper you can put this one on. the fit is beautiful. the lower lip is part of the bumper. I'm not familiar with the ruf bumper. the lights electrical will have to be spliced in. i will make a light cover soon that will hide the blinker and the fog on the 996 lights and will make it look a lot more like the 997 round light. I'm thinking that if you take the head light off and turn your blinker on you will find out which one it is and than just splice into it and the ground is the brown one. also do the same for the fog. thank you"

Who makes the RUF replica? The closest I've seen is the Turbo front.

Why not just stick a Ferrari 250 GTO front end on a 914? Maybe I’m just too much of a purist, but I think if you want your car to look like a 997 then you should buy a 997. This front end is just not aesthetically pleasing – it’s what model number 996 ½ might look like. Plus, it smiles too much and it has way too many lights. Even with the imposed headlight covers it looks like it should be drifting. IMHO, 02 – 05 996 bi-xenon headlights are the most bad-*** pair of eyes on the planet. That Andale front bumper is hot. I think I’d go with that, Ruf sides and a Misha wing.

here you go, gettydesign.com has the "ruf style" on their site.
they also have a bunch of cool wings with the prices, the ruf bumper isnt in the catalog, it shouldnt cost much more than 1000 if you look at the other 996 front bumpers.
