Stupid fued developed. Lots of quasi-name calling. Basically, pointless rants back and forth.

 

That's too bad. I want to buy an intake system for my car, but would like to get some opinions & comparisons of them both...especially if the K & N system can deliver the 25+ hp.

 

so what's the bottom line?
is anyone going to do the side by side comparison?
i would hate to see this not happen.
make someone out there can make a go-fast product that ACTUALLY works!

 

Has anybody seen actual dyno results from the K & N intake system?

 

The shop I use Dyno-Comp has offered to do some independant testing. They are local to both Vivid and Evo and have the best dyno setup in Phoenix. I'll send Richard the link to this thread so he can chime in.

Where in Phoenix are you? I just moved to Scottsdale. I too would like to see dyno results on GT3's. I can have mine be a test dummy.

I sold it and traded the Boxster in like a month ago on the GT3.

 

Luis, I'm just north of PV mall. (44th st & Acoma) We need to setup a drive early morning up through Oak creek cayon. Or at least meetup for a dinner some night and talk cars. I had a large group with the Subaru and we met weekly to chat about everyones mod progress.

I dyno'd my turbo with K&N, B&M and stock. No significant difference between the three. In fact the stock filter performed the best.
