Radar Detector?????

I am looking for one to hard wire in my car...i want it to look factory installed...not just suctioned to the dash. On top of that I want it to work VERY well....Anyone do this? Options? I have heard of Valentine 1 installs with rear view mirror mods....maybe thats a good plan....

Most on this board agree the V1 is the best unit. I have the Passport 8500 X50 (hardwired) and it's saved my *** many times.

That mirror is awesome! Pricey, but clean.

You do not want a K40, they have average radar detection and the last video of the bluetooth K40 showed that it couldn't jam a single laser gun on the market today.

My Passport 8500 X50 pays for it self weekly in saves. Use it in the car and on my sport bikes.

I got my V1 direct from the website and had Moe at Pioneer Prosche in SD hard wire it for $50... The remote display is up front by the window defroster vents. B/C of the instrument cluster most passengers can't see it, only I can... My unit is mounted up by the rear view miror and can be quick disconnect to put in my wife's car.
