at which RPM that you will shift gear?

at which RPM that you will shift gear?

just wanna see normally at which RPM that you guys will shift gear to higher/lower gear.

i'm not talking about racing or track, just normal daily drive.

and what's the average RPM that you guys would like to keep after the gear shifted?

i normally shift my gear to higher gear at 3500--4000
and shift down at 1000-1500

how about you guys?

Porsche engines don't like to be lugged. For normal street driving I would downshift at no lower than 2000 RPM. If you are interested in maximum performance, check out the transmission curves in your operating manual.

well, but if we kept using the method of shifting gear only at red line, i think 911 only need 2 speed.....
