Question on EVO intake..

Question on EVO intake..

If Todd's around.. how come evoms got rid of that metal piece that bolts the housing and the intake together.. reason i asked is miine came off of the throttle body twice after tightening it , while on the freeway..car just shutdown

here are the old one..i marked the part i was talking about.. also attached my intake which is the new style

Alex! How long is C2 gonna last?
I bet you are aiming for 996'tt' w/flash, intake, etc...now then GT2 later...oh forgot to mention CGT at last.

it's not needed. just tighten the hell out if it. mine never came off.

it hasnt come off since then, i see the clamps a little bented, too tight? there's no way it;s coming off now
