Installing New Pedals..

I got new pedals from ebay for cheap, cheap, yea they need to be drilled to installed but how do you install them. I think the less you pay the less information you get with them. The instructions are extra! If any of you have installed these can you give me some advice? Do I have to take the old rubber covers off? ect.... Feel like an idiot...

one thing that thread doesn't mention is to be careful to not put the pedals too far down on the existing pedals (especially if you do the brake pedal first). The clutch pedal trips a switch that disables the starter...if you mount the new pedal too low on the existing clutch pedal...it can hit the floor before tripping the starter overide switch and you will not be able to start your car...fortunately, I learned this from someone else's mistake and so can you...

Wasn't to bad took me about an hour. I made a list of hardware and went to Home Depot. Used self tappers worked like a charm. Completely understand the lining up issue that was the hardest part. Mine aren't perfect but they are on and good enough for me. Oh well its done.

So I'm just wondering....... what's wrong with the hardware that came with the product? Or did it come with any?

It came with hardware. Its OK for the brake and the clutch. I still can't figure out how it would be used for the dead petal and the gas. I read all the threads of the people who did it previous and it just seemed easier to use self tapping screws.
