k40, valentine, or other laser detector (plus difuser/jammer)
k40, valentine, or other laser detector (plus difuser/jammer)
Whats the best laser detector/jamer plus radar detector (yes I know radar jammers are illegal so I am not even going to ask).
k40 seems to be good but spendy. Anyone have one with the laser difuser/jamer? How well does it work?
Valentine 1 with a lidatek? How does that work? How good is this option?
Thoughts? Experiences especially with devices that delay speed recognition on the gun.

I did try a search and there was only one post that actually discussed different ones. It had a bunch of "Valentine 1 all the way" posts which is great but I want to more about laser jamming and if it is valuable and specifically what people have actually done.
I have a new k40 calibre. It is an excellent product and uses bluetooth technology. It is completely stealth and all you see is 2 led's. You dont have any wires or detectors hanging down from the windsheild. I have an extra front and rear calibre lying around that i would be willing to sell. I have yet to get a ticket with this system.
If you want the best, get a V1 for the best radar/laser detection and get a separate laser jammer because no combo radar/laser detector/laser jammer is worth it. This $450 laser jammer is the best in the world and it just came out recently. It goes by the name of AntiLaser Guardian (AL G8).

The AL6 prototype was tested below and it almost jammed every laser gun to the gun except for one and they have already fixed that problem with the AL G8.

I got a ticket just recently. Im thinking of getting a radar/laser detector. Need advise on what to get.
Trending Topics
guys for radar...(just like most people) the valentine 1 works excellent. i have it hardwired so you barely even notice it. had this for years and IMO its one of the best if not the best for radar.
for laser, i have the lidatek le30, with one front transponder. (you can also get a rear transponder, but i figured the front was the most important one).
i have been saved by the V1 numerous times...cant even count..
Laser is being used more and more as time progresses, so i decided to get the le30. works excellent. saved me at least twice when i was speeding and a few times it went off when an officer was shooting laser..however i was just driving the limit. (but comes to show you that it does work).
In general i guess this would be an $800 investment for both. www.lidatek.com
Defently worth it, not just because of the fact that you will save money in tickets...it gives you more confidence to drive like you want to drive knowing you have some sort of protection.

to my knowledge as the officer shoots you with his laser gun, he gets no reading on his gun display... however your transponder understands it got zapped and the siren in your car goes off along with the led which turns from green to red. this allows you to slow down right away. the second or third time he shoots you, then he gets a reading... i guess this method is better than him just getting false readings all the time.. then he will really know that you have something in the car. i guess its then up to the officer and his judgement, if he wants to pull you over and bust your *****...
you have to understand, with laser its one on one. the officer vs you. He is aiming at you and only you. he has to aim at every car individually. so yes, when he sees no reading the first time, he will think something is wrong. by then you will slow down, and then he shoots you again and he gets a reading.... i was probably shot 5 times total with laser on the highway. a couple speeding and a few just flowing with traffic. the officer never pulled me over for him getting a false reading. If they are aware of the devices out their + notice you have a somewhat nice/racey car they might understand you have something.. but like i said before..i never got pulled over for it so i guess most of them need a reading on display of you going over the speed limit. the laser detector does that exactly that.

Like RadarKing said, the AL G8 is the BEST on the market. It blew Lidatek outta the water in independent tests.
I got one for myself yesterday after doing tonnes of research!
Going to install it after the long weekend!
