Sure you can, just buy engine paint at any auto parts store. My calipers are painted with it - no problems at all.

I don't know what kind of paint they used but said they should last as long as the oem units.
Pics of the finished project should be up soon.

I didn't realize you could get that stuff in bright colors like this with a gloss finish. I thought that stuff was normally gray or black and a flat finish.

Looks great, but what was the big deal about bleeding the lines. It's normal maintenance. It must have taken them longer to mask it all out than to just take them off and paint them.
