Just installed X74 on 99 C2. Amazing!!
I couldn't be happy after I got my car back from the installer!! As most people state, the X74 really transformed the handling of the car, and I can say that because I race on the montain quite often, and I did a quick lap just now. The body roll and braking/accelerating squat are all gone.
What makes me even happier is that it cured all the little squeezing sound from my old suspension!! No more squeezing when I turned the steering wheel or go over bump. And I can confirm that the ride quality acutally feels better than stock, not stiff to me at all (but that could be I live in San Diego which has good highway, I will test out the car in LA sometimes) Can't be happier about it
About the ride height, it's not super low. I can already imagine M030 wouldn't drop much at all, because X74 droped the car only moderately. I could stick 4 of my fingers between the wheel gap when it was stock, now it's about 1 finger gap.
Now, it's time to ABUSE the suspension on the mountain to accerlate the settling down process
and then give it an alignment!!!

I am trying to decide between the x74 or ROW M030 suspension for mostly street duty and an occasional track day in my 04 C2. Since you live in San Diego as well I would love to see what the ride height difference is next to my stock car. I was thinking the x74 would be too stiff but I have heard a lot of people liking it so... Just don't drive downtown where the roads are questionable in quality. You might want to look into getting the motor protection plate.

I got engine protection plate. For 99 it's almost a must. If you're in SD, you can always call me up and check it out. I wish I could tried it out before I bought the kit, I wasted so much time debating which kit to get. And I'm happy that I made the perfect choice
There are tons of review between M030 and X74. Just a quick comparison, M030 lowers the car about 20 mm (which is like nothing at all) and X74 lowers 40 mm (perfect in my opinion, the wheel gap is now like one finger only). They much better than stock. Without any engine mod, I read the M030 can run almost 2 sec. faster in a track (forgot which one), and X74 can finish faster a whooping 3 sec. compared to stock! You get the idea~

The whole setup. I removed my JIC and replaced it with the X74. Excluding track days, I am much happier. That said, its still a lot better than stock on the track.

Ive heard that the JIC's were too rough of a ride for most. Was that your experience? I cant see how the X74 would outperform the JIC's in a track enviorment. I can understand if they were just more daily drivable.
