GT3 Road Trip Pictures

Some pics from my vacation road trip this year. Johannesburg to Plettenberg Bay - 750 miles each way in the GT3:

Cool pictures, I love the MkI GT3. Have you ever thought of installing Litronic lights on the GT3?

Speed limit is 120 km/h, but a lot of the trip is through the Karoo desert - just empty space with very few cars. So I was driving very fast sometimes - managed 270 km/h at one point. They'd have thrown me in jail if they caught me.

This is a story I wrote about the same trip last year:
GT3 Road Trip Story

I had Litronics on a previous C4. Nice but expensive. Anyway, I prefer not to drive on country roads at night.

Darren, find a GT3 and drive it. It truly is the essence of 911. I prefer it even to the Turbo. Never driven a GT2 though - it scares me!

The car looks great!

I have a question. Your car looks just like mine which is a C2 with the Aero kit.

Can you clarify what the GT3 has?

Thanks for the education

Tim, I'm not sure what you mean by "what the GT3 has?" If you mean bodykit, it is pretty much the full aerokit. But mechanically the GT3 is an entirely different car from the C2 - engine, gearbox, suspension, brakes, etc.

I thought the GT3 had different body styling than that is all. If I were to see it on the street there is not external diferentiation from your car and mine (except the badge) and you kicking my C2 butt
