So...what do you recommend as the best US based Porsche magazine to read or to subscribe to?

I have heard good thing about EXCELLENCE magazine. Would that be the one to begin reading?

I know there are TONS of great ones in Europe...but I want to read a mag based here with info on US cars etc.

What do you all read and why?

Excellence is the best for pcar owners....

 

Excellence is good. I buy the UK mags, too, since they test a wider variety of 911s and have some good tech/buyer's guide info. I am saving my Nov issue of Excellence because it has a 993 Buyer's Guide.

 

+1 for Excellence. They have really taken over as far as the leading Porsche magazine. They have great tech articles with step by step pictures. Also, great stories on Porsche history and upcoming technology.

Porsche Panorama used to be magazine of choice for the PCA and Porsche people, but Im not sure I feel that way anymore.

excellence is a great source for aftermarket vendors as well as there Q&A depeartment... the UK mags are great for articles thats about it.

i enjoy christophorus too, some amazing pictures in there.

 

christophorus is free too, right? cuz i get it and never signed up for it.
excellence is great choice as well. i ended up picking up the latest copy.

 

I like Christophorus but it's like a big infomercial for Porsche.

"GT Purely Porsche" and Excellence

 

"Total 911" is a great mag with, you guessed it, nothing but 911's

 

Well the only American Porsche mag is Excellence unfortunately. I do not like Excellence very much.

I wish the rates on GT Purely Porsche and 911 & Porsche World were cheaper. They have some great articles on some great euro tuned cars in there.
