996 Brake Question???
996 Brake Question???
Will 996 GT3 Brakes fit on a 2002 996 C2 ? I have been asking a bunch of shops and they keep telling me either, a) they dont know, or b) they dont think so but they arent 100% sure and cant tell me why they wont fit. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

, It would be really helpful if you could tell me what parts I would need to make it work.

If you are looking for a good BBK for the 996 C2, we offer a turbo system which is more than adequate for the power and weight of the C2. More info can be found here: EVO 325MM Turbo BBK

why not buy the brembo 6 piston BBK from Brembo??? ....
afterall that is what Porsche uses.. and it will bolt on.. just say it's from the GT3.. not many will know the difference
but if you are not doing a TON of track time.. just do the TT upgrade

I agree my next mod maybe the BREMBO BBK. I have a good friend that may have the hook ups. I am thinking I only need the front since I already have factory painted "S" calipers all around.

you ever do any motor upgrades yet? BBK is nice, but really only if you are doing DE days... make that thing come to life with intake (K&n cold air) and GIAC chip!!!

as for the K&N...I am scared of MAF problems
as for the GIAC chip...time and time again I have been told its not worth the bang for the buck for a NA car. Now if I had a TT then the chip is supposedly worht it...and will literally wake the car up. But for a NA, the gains are minimal at best...is the word around the campfire.
True or False?
But...I am going to get the SSK..so there...

I never debated the mods did NOT help..I know they do..I am only debating the cost vs. gains in hp.
