C2 + $20.000 or Turbo

Which would you rather have, a 2003 C2 and $20,000 in your pocket or a 2001 Turbo?

Easy!

C2 and with the 20k, use half of it to SC it and pocket the rest for the new wheels and suspension you are going to put on it.

2003 C2, 10k supercharger and then 10k in your pocket. Your C2 shoudl be faster than a stock turbo and you'll have 10K to spend on Mods. heh heh

EDIT: Robyn beat me to the punch!

for me, it would depend how much cash i had on the side, beyond the $20K. if i had $0, then i'd definitely go with the c2. if i had $1 million, i'd most definitely go for the turbo. Being that i drive a C2, guess how much cash i have.

If you're gonna spend the 20k on modding the C2 ... well ... might as well get a turbo, insert the key and drive.

Turbo. C2 is a great car but after you are done with at least 10K in mods you will be in Turbo range (used 01/02 with low miles). Find a nice Porsche certifed Turbo and enjoy it until the 998 version comes out. Definately what I would do if in your shoes. For now I am waiting for the 997 Turbo.

If you can ask the question, then go with the turbo...
1) Its financially feasible for you (or it wouldn't even be a question), 2) you're obviously considering a turbo (so if you don't get one you'll always wonder), 3) what are you gonna use the 20k for anyway?
Get the turbo, you'll never have to worry about RMS
