Supercharger is completed

Car is back with supercharger installation completed. Kit is from Todd at EVO and Charlie at Intersport did the install. Big difference in power. All 996's should feel like this IMO. Went with SC vs Turbo for 3 reasons: 1)Bolt on App instead of having to go in to engine. 2)Pulls strongly from low RPM's. 3)Boost is at around .5 bar and SC runs cooler so less stress on semi-fragile 996 motor. Any thoughts or questions feel free to PM me.

Regards

topspn,
Congrats man. I saw a video taken by a passenger of a 996 w/ a supercharger pulling from 1st thru 4th. That thing was damn fast. Enjoy the new ride cause thats basically what you got. . . a new car.

Thanks. You're right, it's like a new car. Actually, I went forward with the kit after corresponing w/ Ben lj, who made the video you're referring to. He was right, this thing really pulls. The power comes on more linearly than the turbo, IMO. You thinking of doing this?

ps. I do play. Very observant of you. Most folks don't understand my user name. You play?

Regards

Total with installation was around $12k. Labor was approx. 30 hrs. Still have a few little things to work out, maybe another couple of hours.
