New to the boards...Out with a bang! A Supercharged Bang!
Thanks for the comments guys! It has been a real blast for sure! But, it would figure that it has been raining here for days! Damn the weather Gods! Don't they know that I have an SC to tend to?
Bob...thanks for the advise, really. The bra was only something for the long drive from Fresno to the Bay Area. Didn't mean to hurt your feelings on that one!
Advise well taken.
As far as the speed limit is in Fresno....Well, it's only cheating when you get caught. Sooo...in the mean time, me and my best friends, i.e. SC and Valentine One, are gonna try and make our own rules!
Best to all,
Justin H

Hey Justin!
I didn't realize you were going to get the SC so soon!!! I guess that will give me a reason to make a trip down to see you and Kevin again. Maybe I'll try and give you guys a call this weekend.
I am so jealous,
chris

do you know what the evo charger puts out to the wheels on your car? I have a 3.6 with a turbo performance charger which puts out 405whp which is around 465 or 470 at the engine but the software is not that great. The car constantly hiccups on roll out and is really bad on cold weather starts. Hows your experience so far with evo?
Kirb no offense but for all the $ you spent modding the car you should have bought a GT3 and been done with it.
Marc your full of opinionsahh its a good thing that we have choices in life, not everyone has the same taste as you thats why each car has a personal touch, also that is a old picture he has since added full Carbon Fiber to the interior.. by the way Black Grills on the front? its not a truck that would look dumb if your looking for opinions

Hey guys!!! Been a while once again. Kevin M. and I have been having some more fun with my car as of lately. I ditched the arctic, and went with full carbon...it took 8 months to get the *$@!! side A/C vents with the slats wrapped in Savannah beige. Kevin and I joked about how porsche couldn't find a Savannah cow to whack!!
Anyway, only thing missing is the double din Kenwood ddx7015. My wife and I are expecting our first child March 14th...give or take a little...and fundage is a little tight. I will have pics tomorrow to follow. I also added the Dansk dual Turbo style tips...they look awesome!!

To be honest....I have had my ups and downs with the EVO supercharger. My car was number 9 on the installation list, and number 1 on the learning curve!
What had happened was that I was experimenting with different exhausts and their respective sounds, and removed my first generation PSE, and put the light weight Dansk cans on the car (I went back to the 2nd generation PSE currently, and it absolutely kicks A$$!!!!
) What Todd, or anyone else for that matter couldn't figure out was that the Vacuum lines for the PSE where never removed, and were continuing to pull vacuum, taking away all of the power we were trying to produce. Todd was so supportive, and finding a resolution was his primary concern throughout the whole process. We also added the upgraded clutch and lightweight flywheel. Once I got the car back, the car absolutely screamed!! It took me a while to figure out that the PSM system actually severly hinders the cars performance...by a lot!! Turn that off, and look out!! Watch nailing it around corners! My second mistake that I made, was pulling the airfilter out and cleaning it. The mass air sensor is sooo sensitive, that it just doesn't make any sense to clean the K&N with anything, cause the mass might pick it up. If you can afford 10k for the system, then you can afford 50 for a new filter...trust me, take the advise!! It actually caused my ECU to take a dump as well. Now, the car runs to near perfection, (crossing my fingers!), and runs smooth idling, and no hesitations or problems. It wants to rip loose, in first, and even tries to let loose in second. I am running the extremely heavy Techart 19 x 11's with 305's on the rears. I would venture to say, that with the PSM off, this car is running 0-60 in the 4 flat range. Haven't ran it against a stock TT, but can't wait. Horsepower is advertised at 420 hp at the fly, and 350 at the wheels. It feels every bit of that. Oh...almost forgot to mention that with the E-gas, there is a slight hesitation when you mash the pedal down. You are almost better off easing your foot down...then mashing.
Sorry for the book...but a lot to catch up on, and a lot to learn from. Any other Q's...fire away!!! Hope I have helped, and again, I will post pics hopefully tomorrow. Happy Holidays to all in the Posha Fam!!!
Regards,
Justin

Justin,
Congrats. I'm curious about how you got #09? I have #10 and have had it since last February. The car is a completely different animal w/ the SC though, huh?

Thanks Kirb!! It's good to be back. How do you like your car now that it is SC'd?? Since you have the 3.6L...that beauty should really get up and go.
You know...I have know idea! Mine is stamped number 9, and that is all I can tell you. And yes, a completely different car. It really feels like the TT to me, stock that is, as far as acceleration goes. But the TT definitely has more lower end torque, and is more violent. The E-gas creates just a moment of lag, and the 99's are much more responsive for the 3.4L's. I love it.
Yes, they are chromed. Compliments of Matt Mesler at Meridean.
I will definitely do the updated photos tomorrow. I ended up having the front bumper re-painted. A much better match now.
