Great to see you back Justin and congratuations on expecting your first baby!! That is wonderful, blessed news!

I just put in a Kenwood 7015...!! I hope it works out that you do get yourself into baby! Pure shweeeeetness!!

My supercharge goes in at the end of January....I'd do it sooner, but I have been without my car now for a month, it'll be another three weeks until the show and I want at least a week with her during my Bday to have some fun. Then the REAL fun starts once the SC, light weight fly wheel and clutch go in. Woot woot! Happy holidays to you!!

Kevin,

Oh, that makes sense. Thanks.

Justin,

I'm also getting about 25-30% better gas mileage as well. You?

Regards

Thanks Robyn!! It's about time with the supercharger! You are gonna love it! I took one of the Porsche salesman out for a ride yesterday (bought the wife an Audi), and practically had to hose the interior out when I dropped him off! He was thoroughly amazed with the cars power, and thought that the supercharger install looked OEM...like it was meant to be there. Taking PSM off is the key...if you have it, turn it off for a rocket ride!

I am not sure Topspn...haven't ever checked because I don't have the full computer on my car, and haven't done the math as of yet. But 25 to 30% seems a bit steep for my car.

You'll see a slight increase of maybe 10% at highway driving in gas mileage. However, you will see a greater decrease in mileage around town. I get 27+ mpg highway and maybe 20 mpg around town normal driving. Much lower if you're using the boost most of the time.

One small word of advise...Lose the bra. I installed a Porsche bra on my TT and got caught in the rain. The dye in the bra bled thru the clear coat and stained it. Tried everything to get it out. Finally called the regional Porsche rep and we took it to a body shop where they compounded off the original clear coat and re-applied new to factory specs. Be careful, man.
I drove back from Daytona, FL to NC with the last half of the trip (4+ hours) in the rain and didn't have that problem. It was a black Colgan bra on silver paint.
