I usually get my factory parts from viperbob from rennlist, he gets parts directly from Porsche at lower prices than the dealer charges, shipped to your door. 650-743-6801. Good guy, a friend of mine and knows his sh*t.

MAD CAT is infamous around these parts
My 02' 5-spoke light wheel came with Michellin Pilot Sport Rib, 225/40/18 front and 285/30/18 rear, runs VERY smooth!

any n spec is ok. size is 285 in rear. most dealer use conti since it's the cheapest. rosso is pretty soft.

Michelin pilot sport 2 doesn't come in 285 size. maybe that's why 265 is used. i would stick w 285 since geometry may have changed in 02. pilot sport rib is not as good as pilot sport 2. between sport rib and rosso, i'd get rosso. check out tirerack for review and options for OEM tires. You may find Bridgestone RE050 in these size which would be my preference over PS2 and Rosso.

Both came on the '02 but 285 on the rear. I have Bridgestone P3 and very happy with them.

Ditto .. Jeff just hooked me up with a new set of brake pads (at 50% of the local dealer cost)
