20" rims for rear
I have question for someone who knows about Porsche lot....about mechanism of Porsche..suspension....transmission....
I am getting TE22 mode 10 which is 20" rim for my 996 Cab. This 20" rim is definately bigger diameter than normal 19" set up. the tire that I am using is 305/25/20 for rear 235/35/19 for front.
Is that safe for normal driving not racing.....is that bad for suspension or other stuff.
Please get me some advise.
Thanks / Henry
By the way, The 20" rim was for autoshow.

Henry,
I have the TE22 mode 10 in 19's for the wide body cars. I think 20's are way too tall (overall diameter) for your car. Why dont you stick with 19's? Did By Design recommend 20's?

by design is not recommended 20" but look awesome............with4". Do you think it will be problem for my car? any input. I did not chance to drive car yet. I am still waiting for one more pc of 20" for the back.
Can you post your car with mode 10.
Thanks

hello henry,
the car looks incredibly aggressive with 20's in the rear and i have seen a turbo with the same set up that giovanna did for a customer. as far as how it will handle i would think from a logical point of view that the rear end would probably slip easier in turns given the diameter is to big. but if you do not plan on driving aggressive it might be ok, you'll just get faster tire wear.
