Just curious....what camera? Are you using a tripod? long exposure times? slow sync shutter with a pop of flash may help as well....

hahaha..that is funny...yeah I totally RISKED my life going out at night to comeback with those! hahahaa...

newport...I just used my plain ol P&S Canon A700 with a wide angle lens. No tripod I used a wooden wine box I had left over from xmas..and I used the "night portrait" mode...hahaha...and some random non flash settings.

I have some pro photog friends that are supposed to teach me how to go full manual and use the camera and get some better effects. But...thats all I have for now.

Thanks for sharing in the laughs guys...

They turned out pretty good for such a camera and settings!

Get to learn the manual mode, it will help a lot ... but that's good start, I must say.

Once you get beyond the "night portrait" settings, you'll get better pics, keep practicing....and dont be afraid to experiment...
