Poll on final color decision please help me.

Here is a link to a thread about my current project 2002 targa.

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ad.php?t=71090

There are tons of pictures in there of the work in progress. I am having the hardest time making my final decision on my color.

I am almost 95% sold on a dark candy red, except some of my friends are saying candy would be too "lowrider" on a porsche. They think a dark gunmetal type silver would be much better. I like the color but think you see a lot of silver porsches.

Here is the color red I want, just a little darker. This is also painted by the same guy doing my car.

Or the dark titanium silver:

Here is how the car is going to look. The hood will stay carbon fiber, the wing blade is carbon fiber, the mirros are carbon fiber, the windows will be tinted, the two pillars are going to be painted black making the whole roof black, and the wheels are black with a polished lip.

IMHO, CF hood = Doesn't fit on a Porsche, I see where you are going with it but it will just look cheap.

I vote for gunmetal also.

I understand that some don't like the carbon fiber hoods staying carbon. I love the look of carbon and hate to cover it up.

I also forgot to say the car is a show vehicle, the red black mix would be something like this:

I really am going for the two tone look. Thats why I got the wheels done in black, the carbon fiber wing, carbon fiber lip, the carbon fiber hood, the dark tint and painting the two side pillars black.

What about a very dark candy red thats almost black at night?
