Question C4S w/Aero Car Cover ??

I needs some help here, pls.......

I've got an 04' C4S with the std Porsche AeroKit, so I'm looking for a cover that will accomodate that with the wing. I've checked out a few other searches, but didn't see one like this? (So any help is appreciated).

Here's what I'm looking for:

- 99% indoor use for dust, but, may be outside on rare occasion
- soft to the paint
- NOT a super hugger around all the corners like a robber with a nylon mask
on.
- Prefer something that wraps up "small" into a dufflebag to store in front of
car and wont take up the whole trunk area

..... Not asking for much am I.....

(I'll take any direct links and/or pn's if you've got them)

Hi..yeah I have a C2 cab with the factory Aero too..and my car cover was ordered to accomodate it. The original owner said he had to dealer either get it for him or special/custom order it for him.

A regular old carrera cover will not fit. Maybe call your local dealer and ask the parts dept.

I have the factory silver one that has the Porsche lettering in RED. Again, I dont know if it was special ordered or special made..but it is not a "regular" cover since it has to fit over my wing too.

The one place I called was pushing their Coverking Stormproof model. The cost was a bit more and he was staying its "newer" technology vs the traditional technalon type. (Now this was a outdoor cover). Not sure exactly what type material it was though.

(My son had one for his VW a few years back, was white in color, and although super light weight and worked well, was almost too light to work with.........chasing it from side-2-side on the car)

OK......back to my needs here..............

Which would be the best choice if I want a good fit (because they dont have something specifically for the C4S with Porsche Aero), and if need be go on the "looser" side.

1) Turbo
2) GT2
3) GT3

Just came in........so order to deliver was just about 7days. The cover was CCC's Superweave (but really I think its Covercrafts Weathershield). Seems to be a "soft" material, synthetic w/no fuzzy stuff. The fit was quiet excellent (a tad baggy on the mirrors) but went around the factory Aero body pieces and wing great. (PN# 16205WG from CCC, plus I ordered a black duffel).

It does take up minimal space, which is great.........very happy so far.

I'd say yes. As it is now, with the Aero-wing the fit is good, not too tight, but a GT2 wing looks wider than mine for sure. (I just need to get in the mind-set that these new synthetic covers are safe..........so they say).

(I'm somewhat curious how it will wear where it goes under the exhaust tips)

The material is thin for sure, went on the car nicely (unlike some that are like fighting a huge rubber band and chasing it all over the place)............and it has a 4yr warranty for $100 more than their Plushweave (2/yr), so what-the-hey.

I must comment..... I do like the fact that it wraps the whole car, but, not a stretch fit thats too tight against the paint. Just enought to hold on good.
