A few night shots.....

I have been trying to get out and do more shooting...here are a few shots from last night...Nikon D2X and Tokina Pro 12-24/4 lens...tripod and 30 second exposure....I screwed up and forgot it was set at ISO 800, but it made them look kinda gritty.....

I have made a car camera rig that holds the camera about 6 feet away from the car depending on my configuration....so I set it up, focus, set the camera to take 1 shot every second, and then I drive....lol...that day my lens was acting up, wouldnt stop down past f/8.....so I couldnt get the shutter speeds I wanted, so I have to do that again.....its just a PITA to setup and then that road is about a 90 minute drive from where I live...about 30 minutes from my work....so I have to have the time to get out there....I am planning on doing it again, that was my first attempt....

Nice pics, black cars are so hard to photograph at night, especially yours with the black wheels. Try to have a bunch of light that reflects of your paint and you'll start to see more lines of the car in the shot.

that last one has some "additional" blur.
That's what I was actually referring to, I've seen a lot (A LOT) of images lately that really kill the original shot, best obvious alternative is right out of the box - the motion looks sincere. IMO.

Wynn's stuff has always been good and scarily enough, is getting better.

Check out this guy too, he's badass.

Why is it everyone with beautiful cars are great with the camera?
