Steering Wheel With Airbag Options

What is out there....I cant stand my stock C4S steering wheel. What is on the market that will retain the OEM air bag?

what don't you like about it? There are various combinations of the stock steering wheel you can get that accept the OEM airbag such as thicker rim, carbon or alu rim, or suede covered rim. But they all have the same basic 3 spoke shape. If you don't like the shape, then you need a new airbag. FVD also sells some, do a google search for them.

I'm assuming that you have the 4-prong wheel..... Porsche offers the 3-prong which is much nicer and you can get the leather version with stitch or not.... Crest silver or gold.....

Good Luck, they are not cheap.

I'm pretty sure all C4S's came with the 3 spoke wheel...

Yes I have the 3 spoke wheel but I do not like how thin and large it is, I would love a fatter and slightly smaller wheel in suede.....That would be sweet.

I haven't seen it online in a US store. Suncoast might carry it. I ordered a gearshift from carnewal years ago and got it really fast. I think they are a reputable place to order from still. Maybe someone can chime in on this.

If you do get it, I'd love to see the install pics

This is identical to the stock one--just a suede cover. Same diameter, thickness, etc.

P.S. Yes, you can get them in the states. I got mine from Jeff at Sunset Porsche in Oregon.

I just bought a gold steering wheel crest to match the hood. I have not installed it yet, where can I get a silver crest for the wheel?

Gert at Carnewal is excellent to deal with. I ordered my X-74 suspension from him and had it in a few days.
