i was considering that before... but more along the lines of something that is adjustable (doesn't have to be airbags). but nobody makes anything similar TIEN might come out with a system soon.

There are high performance airbag systems. Take a look at airride.com. They are more like "air struts" than air "bags" for performance systems.

It was done on a Viper, lets just say the results were less than appealing, unless you're in it for the 100% poser aspect.

ha ha...i can see this question heading south really fast BUT if you are talking along the lines of a high performance air suspension (crosses fingers) then there is something called praxxis http://www.praxissystems.com/ although this technology is currently only available for bmw's and subaru's

Mostly because of comfort, but the MB S211 (E-class) comes with airbag suspension to be able to raise the back of the car when heavily loaded. So that stays "straight" even when loaded.

Nothing you need on a 911..

you are right..I them at BIMMERFEST last year. So I take it back..there are SOME performance airbag systems out there. They had it on a highly modded M3. It can go to stock height and above...all the way to slammed. And it supposed to handle and be taken on slaloms and track events no problems.

I always like airbags on cruiser cars. If I had a mini truck...or a IMPALA SS..or one of those BUICK ROADMASTER wagons tubbed on 20" rims...woohoo..on airbags? SWEEET! But never on my p car...
