The Official 996 C4S Thread
I've recently sold my 911sc and have been thinking about mods for the C4S for some time. dropped and coilovers would be first. Then would be serious thought to those RHA Turbo P's Brando runs... very cool...
Thanks, I agree. My problem is I can't figure out anything to do to it. I mean, the first change is usually the cans. I had Fabspeeds on the last car and was all set to order a pair, then Porsche has to go and surprise the hell out of me with the Sport Exhaust. It sounds just perfect to my ears and no resonance at all. Next, would have been painting the console... nope that's done too.. The shoes are brand new so can't make a change there... Ah, here's one, no NAV! Ok, that can be handled this weekend (Kenwood 8120). That leaves only wheels.. ok, something I can sink my teeth into but how long can that take. What am I going to do once that's done.... This is a real problem.

I agree there's lots of little things. Clear side lights, Red S for the rear, painted non-smoker kit, short shift kit, C4S mats... all that crap is ordered. I think the body is perfect the way it is so, no wings for me. Tires and wheels will take a bit of shopping. Lowering, well I need to talk to some folks first to hear how it will effect the ride and handling.
Can't do much to the engine as I don't want to void the Certified warranty. 100 cell cats, that might work. Cold air with an ECU upgrade might work as well but, I'd really love to find someone with a 4 wheel dyno so that it can be tuned properly.
Anyway, like I said, lots of little things. I guess the wheels/tires will be something I can sink my teeth into for a while.
I welcome any and all suggestions on how to spend my disposable income before Nancy Pelosi takes all of it.

It's just the H&R lowering springs.
