PSE does sound nice, though they also claim no power gain either over stock.

Given, many exhausts don't give you anywhere near the HP gains they claim unless you get the whole intake, ECU upgrade, etc. But personally, I rather save some weight, gain a coupe HP, and save some $$ with an exhaust that sounds similar.

Most aftermarket PSE exhaust installs end up keeping the exhaust "on" sport mode the whole time (because people do not install the electronics). I personally rather not have to pay (in $$ and in weight) for the gizmo that opens and closes the valves if I'll never use it.

That said, to each their own.

I'm in that same crowd. Open mode all the time, but there's no other exhaust that sounds like the PSE out there so given that any gains are a moot point and 45lbs ain't **** either, I'll take the sound over anything else all day everyday.

And let's not make it sound like the PSE is some super duper expensive exhaust. It's only $500 or so more... i'm sure many of you can find enough in change in your suit pockets

BRAP

excuse me

I think Fabspeed claims 12 lb improvement, ie. roughly the same as removing your briefcase.

Same here, my PSE is loud all the time except for those rare occasions that I check to see what a "regular" 997S sounds like. It's ashame some of you PSE guys don't have the switch. The factory cutouts pretty much bypass the sweetest and loudest part of the PSE sound.

12 lb is like having 1.5 gallons less in your gas tank. Just don't fill 'er up all the way
