Do any of you know what this is? I received and installed the evo intake a few weeks ago, and this shows up in the mail a couple of days ago. It’s almost the same size as the silicone collar that goes over intake tube and intake plenum. I’ve been driving my ’99 996 and love the Evoms intake, just can’t figure out what this might be.

Its billet aluminum, painted, looks like a coffee mug, but no handle or bottom. Any ideas?

I did think Nate might chime in, but that would take all the fun out of it then wouldn’t it… Possibly, and this is just a thought, Evoms is doing away with superchargers all together, and going nuclear… full throttle. This will bond to the top of the intake, the "mini" reactor will follow in a few short weeks, then I have the first three-mile island power charger under my hood...

LOL, that cracks me up! Well, if it were a coffee mug it obviously has some small flaws in the design i.e. no bottom. I believe the only guy that could use that as condom holder is Alex "Magnum" Ross from SharkWerks. And no need to raise the Terror Level to Burnt Orange or Appletini Green, EVOMS is not adding nuclear reactors to Porsches.... At least not yet .

That is in fact an intake tube for another intake system. Feel free to use it as you wish, I will find out why you received that.
