caution stay away from corvette Z06's

They are bad for the ego! Went out for a drive with a friend yesterday with his z06 and flat out got smoked. Tried to keep up from 0 to about 125 and he left me in the dust probably 20 car lengths mimimum. Tried again from 80 MPH and the Fricking thing just walked away!
Maybe in the twistys, not a chance. I was hoping for a freak snow storm(I have a C4) Damn those things are fast.

The new Z06 can wipe anything of the map. It is fast. We are lucky if we could keep up with a the regular C6

Doesn't matter... in 6 months, his car will be back at the dealership to begin its long life of repairs. Plus they ride and drive like a lumber wagon; your friend can keep it

Welcome to 6 speed. I assume you own a Z06? You seem so well informed.

Cheers

Well, 500+ bhp on a 3100lb body, what exactly did you expect?

Hell, my 03 Z06 is quite a bit quicker than my 04 X51 C2

Your gonna need to trade up to a 996 or 997 Twin Turbo + a healthy dollop of cash on mods before you can play with a Z06.

Don't play with a Z06, just be happy that you're driving a Porsche that after 3-4 years is still more expensive and sought after than the 4 year old Vette!
