Fabspeed Exhaust

I bought a used fabspeed exhaust from a 6speed member. I installed it and after driving my car I noticed fine metal particles on the rear of the car. My guess is the particles are the steel wool from inside the exhaust coming out. Please someone tell me that this is normal and I don't have a problem.
Thanks.

That's exactly what I was going to say. How used was it? It can take a few thousand miles for the steel wool to settle.

Good question. I'll ask. Based on the condition of the exhaust, I would say it was at least 1 year old.

I have both the Fabspeed Headrers and MaxFlow Exhaust, I have not seen that, I have put 20K miles and two years on them.

I love the Exhaust note.

I had that happen on my previous car when I installed a brand new exhaust... It doesn't matter the age of the exhaust, it matters how many miles were driven... It will go away after a few thousand miles...

I wouldn't worry about it unless it's still doing it after 10K miles...

I never noticed it on my Fabspeed, but my car is silver. I'll have to run a rag across it tomorrow...
