And someone brought up "what would the Carrera GT headlight's look like on a current 911", So this got my wheels turning, I busted out Photoshop again... and here was the result. I am willing to bet they would look amazing on a Turbo.
Its a little rough looking but you get the idea.

 

My wife strolled by when I first opened your picture above and said "EEWW, what ugly headlights!" Nuff said I guess....

 

I like them... on a 997 it would bring us back to the agressive looks of the 991's the 996 is missing, without resorting to the 993 looks from which we need to move on.
